Abstract:
Problem: To realize a thin plate material having a distribution state of nonmetallic inclusions effective at improving fatigue resistance characteristics in a type of stainless steel having a high Si content in which deformation-induced martensite is generated. Solution: A thin steel plate comprising, in terms of mass%, 0.010-0.200% C, over 2.00% and no more than 4.00% Si, 0.01-3.00% Mn, 3.00% to less than 10.00% Ni, 11.00-20.00% Cr, 0.010-0.200% N, 0-3.00% Mo, 0-1.00% Cu, 0-0.008% Ti, and 0-0.008% Al, the remainder being Fe and unavoidable impurities, the distance between particles in a rolling direction being 20 µm or less, the distance between particles in a plate thickness direction being 10 µm or less, and the number density of nonmetallic inclusions having a length in the rolling direction of 40 µm or greater being 3.0 inclusions/mm2 or less in an L cross-section.
