Abstract:
The present disclosure belongs to the field of metal materials. Disclosed are a high-strength steel cord with a low wire breakage rate, and a rolling method and the use thereof. The chemical components of the steel cord may comprise Nb, V and N, with ([Nb]+[V]) / [N] being 3-4.5, wherein [Nb] represents the mass fraction of niobium, [V] represents the mass fraction of vanadium, and [N] represents the mass fraction of nitrogen. The method comprises: acquiring a steel billet of a steel cord; sequentially subjecting the steel billet to heating before rolling, hot rolling, and cooling after rolling so as to obtain a steel cord wire rod. The use of the steel cord involves same being used in a tire framework material. By adding Nb, V and N and then controlling the relationship between Nb, V and N, the strength and toughness of the steel cord can be improved.
