Abstract:
This titanium copper contains 1.5-5.0 mass% of Ti, with the remainder comprising Cu and inevitable impurities, has a Cu and Ti layered structure in which a low-concentration Ti layer and a high-concentration Ti layer are alternately disposed in the thickness direction, the low-concentration Ti layer having a Ti concentration less than the average value of Ti concentration in a Ti concentration curve obtained from a STEM-EDX analysis in which a cross section parallel to the rolling direction is analyzed along the thickness direction, the high-concentration Ti layer having a Ti concentration greater than or equal to the average value of Ti concentration in the Ti concentration curve, wherein the Ti concentration difference in the layered structure, that is, the difference between the maximum value of Ti concentration in the high-concentration Ti layer and the minimum value of Ti concentration in the low-concentration Ti layer, is at least 3 mass% in the cross section parallel to the rolling direction.
