Abstract:
A high-strength and high-toughness copper-zinc-aluminum shape memory alloy and a preparation method therefor. According to the preparation method, grains of an alloy are further refined by performing smelting and cryogenic treatment twice, and the copper-zinc-aluminum shape memory alloy obtains better toughness and plasticity by means of the cooperation of other preparation processes, thereby improving the cold and hot fatigue properties of the alloy. A Cu-10RE intermediate alloy is a refiner, which, on the one hand, can react with harmful impurities due to the addition of composite rare earth elements so as to produce a high melting point product that can emerge from the surface of a solution during standing, and on the one hand, can react with other alloy elements to produce intergranular products. The intergranular products play a role of heterogeneous nucleation in the initial stage of alloy solidification, and mechanically hinders the growth of grains in the later stage of solidification, thereby facilitating grain refining, and improving the cold and hot fatigue properties of the alloy.
