Abstract:
The present invention relates to a medium entropy alloy having excellent mechanical properties at low temperatures and a method for manufacturing the medium entropy alloy. The alloy according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises, by atom%: (24-x)% of Cr; x% of Ni; (76-y)% of Fe; and y% of Mn, wherein y=158.5-19*(x+a)+0.6*(x+a)2, 10≤x≤14, and -0.5≤a≤0.5.
