Abstract:
This oil-based release agent includes a petroleum-based hydrocarbon solvent (a) and a high-temperature adhesive (b), is applied to a die used in die casting and casting, has high adhesion and high lubrication even in relation to high-temperature dies of at least 300°C, and is capable of preventing scorching. This invention also provides: a method whereby the application amount is controlled, by micronizing and speed-controlling this oil-based release agent when applied to high-temperature die; and an electrostatic application method.
