Abstract:
The present invention provides a high temperature superconducting winding for a saturated iron-core superconducting current limiter, comprising: a plurality of high temperature superconducting winding modules independent of each other, a supporting cylinder, and connecting pieces. Independent direct current power supply modules are adopted to supply power to the high temperature superconducting winding modules. The plurality of high temperature superconducting winding modules independent of each other is installed on the outer surface of the supporting cylinder. The supporting cylinder comprises a cylinder body, an upper end flange and a lower end flange. The upper end flange is used for axially positioning the high temperature superconducting winding modules. The lower end flange is used for being connected with one end of the cylinder body. The upper end flange and the lower end flange are connected by means of the connecting pieces. According to the present invention, the current let-through capability of high temperature superconducting strips in the high temperature superconducting winding modules can be effectively improved, and quench chain reactions caused by weakening of the current let-through capability or a quench of a single high temperature superconducting double pancake coil can be significantly inhibited.
