Title:
HIGH-TEMPERATURE SUPERCONDUCTING WIRE HAVING METAL-INSULATOR TRANSITION MATERIAL
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2018/236102
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a lamination structure of a superconducting wire. The present invention provides the superconducting wire having a metal substrate, a buffer layer, a superconducting layer, and a stabilizer layer which are laminated therein, and including a plurality of wedges, which contain a metal-insulator transition material and connect the stabilizer layer and the metal substrate by passing through the superconducting layer and the buffer layer. According to the present invention, the mechanical rigidity of the superconducting wire is improved such that the superconducting wire having high resistance to deterioration or delamination can be provided. In addition, the present invention can provide the superconducting wire enabling self-protection from quenching.
