This high temperature wear-resistant aluminum-bronze-based material has an Al content of 9.0 mass% to 11.0 mass%, inclusive, an Ni content of 1.0 mass% to 3.0 mass%, inclusive, an Mn content of 8.5 mass% to 15.0 mass%, inclusive, an Si content of 2.0 mass% to 4.0 mass%, inclusive, an Fe content of 0.5 mass% to 5.0 mass%, inclusive, and a Co content of 0.01 mass% to 1.5 mass%, inclusive, with the remainder being substantially Cu.
