Abstract:
A high-transmittance polystyrene material and a preparation method therefor. The high-transmittance polystyrene material consists of styrene monomers, a mineral oil, a lubricant, a release agent, an ultraviolet absorber, and a light stabilizer, the components in terms of weight percentage being as follows: the styrene monomers 98-99.8 wt%, the mineral oil 0-0.5 wt%, the lubricant 0-0.1 wt%, the release agent 0-0.1 wt%, the ultraviolet absorber 0.1-0.5 wt%, and the light stabilizer 0.1-1.0 wt%. The high-transmittance polystyrene material is prepared by means of step S1, material addition, step S2, material preliminary prepolymerization, step S3, material multistep aggregation, step S4, material vacuum devolatilization, and step S5, product granulation. The high-transmittance polystyrene material is provided with high transmittance, great high-temperature resistance and yellowing resistance, the preparation method is simple, the material conversion rate is high, and production costs are effectively reduced.
