Abstract:
A high viscosity asphalt modifier comprises (parts by weight): 3-10 parts thermoplastic
elastomer, preferably styrene-butadiene-styrene copolymer, 3-10 parts rubber-type
polymer,preferably SBR, 3-10 parts thermoplastic resin,preferably abietic
resin and 0.05-0.3 parts curing agent, preferably sulfur. The modifier is used
for modifying asphalt with high viscosity and thereby is used in drainage-type
pavements with the property of noise reduction.
