Title:
HIGH-VOLTAGE TRANSFORMER SUBSTATION OF INCREASED SEISMIC STABILITY
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/1991/014305
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A high-voltage transformer substation intended for use in regions with increased or normal seismic activity comprises, mounted on supports (12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17) electrical equipment (6, 7) and insulators (8, 9, 10, 11) of distributing devices (1, 2, 3), connected through flexible buses (18, 19, 20) to the power transformers (4) mounted on the ground (21) by means of non-sunk foundations (22) and a layer (24) of a bulk material. Increased seismic stability is obtained simultaneously with simplification of construction due to the fact that the body (25) of each power transformer (4) and its non-sunk foundation (22) are rigidly interconnected so as to ensure the possibility of their common braked displacement along the layer (24) of the bulk material and retention of their stable equilibrium at times of intensive underground shocks. The flexible buses (18, 19, 20) contain, on one side, anchor fittings (26, 27, 28) rigidly connected to the foundation (22) of the transformer (4), and on the other side anchor fittings (29, 30, 31) connected to the foundations (32, 33, 34) of the electrical eqquipment of the distributing devices (1, 2, 3). Said buses are mounted between these anchor fittings (26, 27, 28 and 29, 30, 31) with correspondingly reduced tension. Such substations may be used for electrical networks of different high-voltage classes with the various necessary circuits and equipment.
