Abstract:

The present invention relates to a high water-absorbent resin on which a surface modification is treated, and a method for manufacturing the same. More specifically, the present invention relates to a high water-absorbent resin having crush resistance in which the surface modification is treated by adding, to a high water-absorbent resin, a water-soluble salt having polycation and fine particles having superhydrophobic properties such that the high water-absorbent resin does not significantly deteriorate other physical properties, and simultaneously has effects of enhanced crush resistance, permeability and absorption rates; and a method for manufacturing the same.
