Abstract:
Provided are highly efficient ethanol-fermentative bacteria exhibiting high ethanol production efficiency, without requiring introduction of a foreign gene. The highly efficient ethanol-fermentative bacteria efficiently produce ethanol from pentose and hexose, and have been deposited in the NITE Patent Microorganisms Depositary under the accession number NITE BP-01962.
