Abstract:
The present invention relates to a highly-efficient precipitation/flotation system having integrated precipitation and flotation/separation processes and a method for driving the same. The present invention provides a highly-efficient precipitation/flotation system having integrated precipitation and flotation/separation processes, the system comprising: a high-rate coagulation portion for introducing a coagulation agent into untreated water such that a flock is generated; a high-rate precipitation portion for precipitating a flock with a first size inside discharged water and removing the same; and a flotation/separation portion having a horizontal structure or a vertical structure with regard to the high-rate precipitation portion, the flotation/separation portion injecting bubbles into discharged water that is discharged from the high-rate precipitation portion such that a flock with a second size is floated and removed. The present invention is advantageous in that the efficiency of treating untreated water can be improved.
