Abstract:
The present invention relates to a highly heat-resistant organic/inorganic composite asbestos-free gasket composition, and a method for manufacturing a gasket by using the same and, more specifically, to a highly heat-resistant organic/inorganic composite asbestos-free gasket composition, and a method for manufacturing a gasket by using the same, the method manufacturing a gasket by heat treating a composition obtained by mixing an inorganic ceramic, organic/inorganic fibers, additives, and a cross-linking agent with a substrate comprising a hydrogenated acrylonitrile-butadiene rubber, an ethylene-propylene-diene rubber, a butadiene rubber, and a fluorocarbon rubber, such that the gasket can be used at a high temperature of which the maximum continuous operation temperature is at least 320°C and has high heat resistance of which the residual stress is at least 20 MPa.
