Abstract:
The present invention relates to a highly heat-resistant thermoplastic polyurethane composition for injection or press molding and to a method for preparing the composition, the composition being characterized by being a mixture of a diisocyanate compound or a cross-linking agent and a thermoplastic polyurethane synthesized by brining (A) an ether-containing polyester polyol, (B) a chain extender and (C) a diisocynate compound into a reaction. As a material suitable for producing members, such as seals and gaskets, having high heat resistance due to the excellent softening point and mechanical properties thereof, the present invention is expected to be able to be widely applied in various fields as a material having high heat resistance.
