Abstract:
The present invention relates to a highly refractive episulfide-based optical material stabilizer which can resolve striae, color and thermal stability issues that arise in highly refractive episulfide-based optical material, an optical material composition comprising the highly refractive episulfide-based optical material stabilizer, and a method for producing the optical material. The present invention provides an episulfide-based optical material stabilizer comprising the episulfide compound expressed by chemical formula 1. Moreover, provided is an episulfide-based optical material composition comprising the episulfide compound expressed by chemical formula 2, the stabilizer, and the like. By including the stabilizer in the episulfide-based optical material composition, the present invention can resolve, by means of a relatively simple method, the issues of striae, color and thermal stability that occasionally arise in highly refractive episulfide-based optical lenses.
