The inventive highly sealing screw joint for oilfield tubes comprises a male and female tubular parts provided with thrust faces and external and internal sealing surfaces. A conical section is embodied on the internal surface of the male part on the side of the free end thereof. The surface of said end is embodied in the form of a cone tapered towards the external surface of the female part, is a counterpart of the conical thrust face of the male part and is provided with a transition section between a full thread and the internal sealing conical surface. The transition section adjacent to the full thread section is embodied in the form of a cylinder whose diameter is greater than the thread diameter or in the form of a V-shaped groove whose one inclined wall is a thread runout section. The full thread section of the external surface of the male part is provided with chamfers on the runout areas and is connected to the conical thrust end face thereof.
