Abstract:
The present invention relates to a hinge or a pivot hinge that both couples two bodies and functions as a pivoting axis enabling the two bodies to pivot with respect to each other, wherein the hinge is provided with a pivot stopping means that performs a stopper function, and a closer means that opens and closes using the elasticity of a spring. The hinge operates as a conventional hinge when the pivot stopping means does not operate, and performs a stopper function by stopping at an arbitrary position when the pivot stopping means operates, in which state the closer function is performed. The closer function employs the characteristics of a clutch that is generally used to restrain kinetic force, in order to control opening and closing of the hinge, to thus configure a hinge apparatus that is set at an arbitrary position by means of simultaneously performing a hinge function, a closer function, and a stopper function.
