Abstract:
Embodiments of the present application provide a hinge assembly and a foldable electronic device. In the hinge assembly, a linear sliding slot is provided on one of a support member and a swing member, and a sliding member is provided on the other, such that the high pair match of a cylindrical pin between the support member and a gear connecting rod and an arc-shaped track slot is replaced with the low pair match of the linear sliding slot between the support member and the swing member and the sliding member, thus, the empty space between the sliding slot and the sliding member is reduced, so that the angle control precision of the support member is higher, and the support member moves in place in two states, i.e., an unfolding state and a folding state. In addition, the swing member is a passively stressed part, and therefore, the movement process is stable, such that when the support member is attached to the swing member, so that the movement of the support member will be more stable.
