Abstract:
Embodiments of the present application provide a hinge assembly and a foldable electronic device. The hinge assembly comprises a main shaft mechanism and two rotating mechanisms located on two sides of the main shaft mechanism and rotatably connected to the main shaft mechanism. Each rotating mechanism comprises a supporting member, a connecting member, and a first oscillating member. One end of the first oscillating member is rotatably connected to the main shaft mechanism, and the other end of the first oscillating member is rotatably connected to the connecting member; the supporting member and the connecting member are connected by means of a higher pair mechanism; a linear sliding groove is formed on one of the first oscillating member and the supporting member, and a sliding portion in sliding fit with the linear sliding groove is provided on the other of the first oscillating member and the supporting member; the first oscillating member and the supporting member are slidably connected by means of a lower pair mechanism formed by the linear sliding groove and the sliding portion. In this way, the movement of the supporting members of the hinge assembly can be more stable, the angle formed between each supporting member and the main shaft mechanism is increased, and a flexible screen installed on a foldable electronic device is protected.
