Provided is a hinge device which can be worked easily in a short time. The hinge device rotatably connects a first member and a second member. The hinge device is provided with two brackets (2, 3) which are relatively rotatable and mounted to the first member and the second member, respectively, and a friction torque generation member (5) which generates friction torque by directly or indirectly pressing the two brackets (2, 3) against each other. One bracket (2) of the two brackets (2, 3) is configured from an integral structure comprising a shaft portion (22) which passes through the other bracket (3) and supports the rotation, and a mount portion (21) which is mounted to the first member or the second member, the shaft portion (22) and the mount portion (21) being produced by forming a plate material.
