Abstract:

The present invention relates to a hinge device for opening and closing a cover of office equipment and, more specifically, to a hinge device which is provided at a cover opened and closed by being rotated and has a double-layered cam and a slider such that a free-stop section and a slow-down section are formed when the cover is closed, thereby reducing noise during the closing of the cover and improving the sensory quality of the product. The hinge device, according to the present invention, comprises: a housing (10) provided at an office equipment body (110) and having a pair of hinge holes (11) at the upper part thereof; a rotating lever (20) fixedly provided at the cover (120), and having a hinge hole (21) at the rear thereof and a hinge connecting part (22) provided at the rear lower part thereof and inserted into and coupled to the upper end part of the inside of the housing (10); a hinge shaft (30) inserted into and coupled to the hinge hole (11) of the housing (10) and the hinge hole (21) of the rotating lever (20) so as to support the rotation of the rotating lever (20) and the cover (120); a compression coil spring (40) provided inside of the housing (10); and a slider (50) which is provided at the inner upper part of the housing (10) so as to be elastically supported by the compression coil spring (40) and of which the upper end portion comes into contact with the lower end surface of the hinge connecting part (22) of the rotating lever (20), wherein the hinge connecting part (22) of the rotating lever (20) is positioned at the front side of the hinge hole (21), the double-layered cam (23) is provided at the lower end surface of the hinge connecting part (22), a support surface (51) is provided at the upper end surface of the slider (50). The double-layered cam (23) of the rotating lever (20) comprises: a center stop cam (23a); and down-cams (23b) positioned at both sides of the stop cam (23a) behind a stop cam surface to have a low height. The support surface (51) of the slider (50) comprises: a stop surface (51a) having an inclined surface increasing in height toward the front side thereof, and coming into contact with the stop cam (23a) of the rotating lever (20) in the center of the front end of the front part thereof; and a down-surface (51b) protruding from both sides of the stop surface (51a) so as to come into contact with the down-cams (23b).
