Abstract:
In a position adjustment mechanism for a hinge device, the ease of operation of an adjustment screw is ensured, rattling is prevented, and durability against load is increased. The adjustment screw 40 of a hinge device 3 is engaged with a body member 10. The sections 34 to be engaged of an intervening member 30 are held between the pair of gripping surfaces 44a of the adjustment screw 40. Both side surfaces of each of the sections 34 to be engaged each have formed thereon a ridge-shaped contact section 35e and a relief section 35b which is continuous with a side of the contact section 35e and which avoids contact with a gripping surface 44a.
