Abstract:
The present invention relates to a hinge-type hook for carrying and installing utility pole underbracings having various shapes, to be used in the construction of utility poles for distribution lines. More particularly, the hinge-type hook comprises a fixed body which is bent, and which has a horizontal part and a vertical part; and a rotary body having holding parts formed at both sides of the rotary body and spaced apart from each other, and a press part interconnecting the holding parts. The horizontal part of the fixed body has a hinge hole, and the vertical part has a fixing shaft rod protruded from the lower portion of the vertical part. Each of the holding parts of the rotary body has, at the front end thereof, a holding hole, and a hinge shaft is fixed between the holding parts. Thus, the present invention enables a rectangular utility pole underbracing or an arch-type utility pole underbracing to be carried and installed in an effective and stable manner just by a single hook. The downward support force of the press part of the rotary body, acting on the upper surface of the utility pole underbracing, enables the utility pole underbracing to be stably held at the hook of the present invention during carrying and installation, even when utility pole underbracings differ in sizes and shapes.
