Title:
HINGE WITH TORQUE SETTING FUNCTION
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2011/099556
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Disclosed is a hinge with a torque setting function, said hinge being capable of coupling two objects via a hinge shaft while friction is applied to the hinge shaft, to assemble a hinge mechanism, and being accurately and easily fastened to the two objects. In order to reduce the diameter of a curved portion (42) of a holder (40), an adjusting member (46) which is isolated from the curved portion (42) and can move vertically within a locking portion (vertical groove) (42G) of the curved portion (42) in isolation from the arc motion of the curved portion (42) when the curved portion (42) is fastened, is screw-engaged with the hinge shaft (20) via a brake member (30). The curved portion (42) can be fastened by a screw (5) regardless of the arc motion of the curved portion (42) because the screw (5) moves vertically. Thus, the holder (40) can be fastened with high accuracy and high operability.
