Abstract:
A hinge without a shaft has two plates (1), each having a sleeve (2) on the side opposite to each other, the sleeve (2) of one of the plates (1) has an extension (21) on the end, which extends into the sleeve (2) of the other plate (1) to form pivotal connection with the sleeve (2). A method for producing the hinge without a shaft includes the following steps: (a) punching the rough piece of the two plates (1) on a flat stuff (A), one formed into a sleeve section (22), the other formed into a sleeve section (22) with a projection (23); (b) first rolling the sleeve section (22) to form a sleeve (2) with an extension (21) from the projection (23), then aligning the two plates (1) so the approximate cylindrical extension (21) of rolled sleeve (2) abuts on the sleeve section (22) of the other plate (1); (c) rolling the sleeve section (22) of the other plate (1) to form a sleeve (2), which encloses the extension (21) formed in step (b).
