Title:
HINGED FRAME OF A PAIR OF SPECTACLES
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2003/034127
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A hinged frame of a pair of spectacles having excellent durability in which a front frame can be turned smoothly and sustained easily at an arbitrary rotational angle and a pair of front frames can be prevented from being overlapped back and forth like a conventional hinged frame. When a person turns a main front frame and moves it upward in front of the eye, a rotary shaft (11) linked with the main front frame is turned while resisting against the frictional resistance between a resin pipe (14) and a bridge case (10) and the resiliency of a leaf spring (13). When a desired angle is reached and the person stops turning of the main front frame, the resin pipe (14) and thereby the rotary shaft (11) is subjected to the frictional resistance between the resin pipe (14) and the bridge case (10) and the resiliency of the leaf spring (13) and held at that position.
