Claims:

CLAIMS

1. A hinged pedal mechanism for gas, break and clutch pedal levers used in vehicles, in order to increase vehicle driving performance; characterized in that the pedal lever (2) comprises a depressing plate (1) , at least one depressing spring (3) placed between the pedal depressing plate (1) and pedal lever (2), a swivel (4) fixed to the slots on the pedal lever (2) ; so that it provides the driver to depress the pedal depressing surface with a proper ergonomics and angle throughout all the stroke of the pedal lever (2) .

2. The hinged pedal mechanism according to claim 1; characterized in that the pedal depressing plate (1) moves on the swivel (4) constantly within the foot depressing angle, compared to the pedal lever.

The hinged pedal mechanism according to claim 1; characterized in that the depressing spring (3) which is fixedly connected to the swivel (4) , keeps the pedal depressing plate (1) at a certain angle when the pedal lever is not in use; and applies pressure to the pedal depressing plate (1) by providing the pedal depressing plate (1) to have the required angle with smooth shifts in accordance with the position of the pedal lever when the pedal depressing plate (1) is being depressed.

HINGED PEDAL MECHANISM IN THE VEHICLES

Field of invention

This invention relates to providing a comfortable and efficient depress on the foot pedal for gas, break and clutch pedal lever in every position of the pedal; so that, increasing vehicle driving performance; by application of hinged pedal allowing relative movement of the pedal depressing plate compared to the pedal lever.

Background of the invention

In the applications of present state of art, pedal depressing plate (1) is connected to the pedal lever (2) fixedly and since these pieces move together force with straight angle can be applied on the pedal depressing surface in only certain positions.

The angle between the foot and the pedal depressing surface changes constantly throughout the movement stroke of the pedal lever (2) and while being suitable for the foot ergonomics in certain positions, it is ergonomically insufficient in other positions. Therefore, fixed pedal depressing surface can not be depressed comfortably and efficiently in every position.

Detailed description of the invention

The purpose of this invention is to increase the vehicle driving performance by redesigning the gas, brake and clutch pedal levers with using hinges.

With the invention, driver is able to depress the pedal depressing surface (1) with suitable ergonomics and angle in every position; that is throughout the pedal lever (2) stroke .

In order to provide this, the pedal depressing plate (1) is mounted on a swivel (4) which is fixed to the slots on the pedal lever (2) . In the normal position of pedal depressing plate (1) ; that is the position when it is not depressed; in order to provide it to stand on the pedal lever (2) with a certain angle, a depressing spring (3) which has a sufficient depressing force is placed between the pedal lever (2) and the pedal depressing plate (1) . The depressing spring (3) is fixed to the swivel (4) by surrounding it from outside.
