Abstract:
A hoistway column (10) using a guide rail (1) as a support, an elevator hoistway using the hoistway column (10), and a curtain wall structure of the elevator hoistway. A guide rail is used as a main vertical force bearing member of the hoistway column, and due to a unique characteristic of the guide rail no additional force bearing component is required. When the guide rail is combined with the hoistway column and used as a force bearing member of the hoistway column, materials used for the hoistway column are reduced, and weight is decreased, and therefore transportation and installation of the elevator hoistway are more convenient, and overall costs are reduced. A space in the hoistway can be expanded, so that a space in which an elevator car is located can be increased, such that a space in the elevator car can be larger. A hoistway beam (11) is connected to the hoistway column. Glass (23) serving as a curtain wall is located on the hoistway beam and is supported thereby. After the glass is mounted, the hoistway beam between upper and lower glass is hidden, thereby ensuring that outer surfaces a glass curtain wall are flush with each other. In addition, a gap between the upper and lower glass is small, thereby facilitating the flowing of water and the cleaning of the exterior of the glass curtain wall. Furthermore, no obvious gap between the glass is exposed, thereby improving the aesthetic appearance of the glass curtain wall.
