Abstract:
Provided is a holder for conveying foods and/or beverages with which placement of a container on the loading base and removal of the container from the loading base can be simply and easily accomplished without touching the loading base or lid. The holder (5) for transporting foods and/or beverages that is placed and conveyed on the conveyor path of a food and beverage-conveying device provided with a conveyor path for conveying foods and beverages to each seat in a store is characterized in being provided with a loading base (6) with a container-loading part (62) for placement of a container in which a food or beverage is being served, a lid (7) furnished on the loading base (6) so as to be capable of opening and closing on the container loading part (62) to cover the container loading part (62) of said loading base (6), and an opening/closing mechanism (8) to close the lid (7) when a plate is loaded on the container-loading part (62) and to open the lid (7) when the plate is removed from the container-loading part (62).
