A holding container (5) for edible plants, said holding container (5) comprising a water-absorbent block (2) in which a bundle of edible plants (1) are planted, and a holding frame (3) which receives and supports the water-absorbent block (2) in the state of carrying the edible plants (1) planted therein, is provided with a vertical through-hole, and has a shape allowing individual transportation of each bundle of the edible plants (1).
