Abstract:
A hole plug which occupies a reduced space when inserted into a hole and which has increased ability of sealing the hole.
A hole plug (10) is used to close a hole (3) formed in a predetermined wall surface and is formed integrally of an elastic resin material. The hole plug (10) comprises: a body section (20) for closing the hole (3) and having an insertion section (30) for insertion into the hole (3); a seal flange section (40) which extends in a skirt shape from the outer periphery of the body section (20) so as to be tilted toward the insertion section (30) and which makes contact with the front peripheral edge of the hole (3); and an engagement section (38) provided to the outer periphery of the insertion section (30) and engaging with the rear peripheral edge of the hole (3). An outer annular protrusion section (41) and an inner annular protrusion section (43) are formed in a double ring shape on the rear surface of the front end section of the seal flange section (40).
