Abstract:
A hollow elastic ball production process and a centrifugal molding machine thereof, the production process comprising the following steps: (1) spraying a mold release agent in a cavity (32) of a molding fixture (30); (2) injecting a certain amount of liquid gel into the cavity (32) of the molding fixture (30), wherein the volume of the liquid gel smaller than the volume of the cavity (32); (3) placing the molding fixture (30) which is injected with the liquid gel on a rotation frame (20) of a centrifugal molding machine, wherein the molding fixture (30) rotates about an axis thereof and revolves along with the rotation frame (20) for 3-8 min; (4) removing the molding fixture (30) from the centrifugal molding machine, and baking in an oven for 5-15 min, wherein the temperature is maintained at 80-100℃; and (5) removing the molding fixture (30) from the oven, opening the molding fixture (30) to obtain a hollow elastic ball. Since the molding fixture (30) can revolve along with the rotation frame (20) as well as rotate, a gel body in the molding fixture (30) may be more uniform in thickness during the centrifugal molding process, the level of concentricity between the cavity and the spherical center of the gel body is higher, thus said hollow ball is capable of being smaller and having better elasticity.
