Title:
HOLLOW FIBER SEMIPERMEABLE MEMBRANE, METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SAME, MODULE, AND WATER TREATMENT METHOD
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2013/118859
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a hollow fiber semipermeable membrane which achieves a high level of water permeability and rejection performance in order to treat using a small membrane surface area, for water treatment which uses a concentration difference from a highly concentrated liquid mixture having high osmotic pressure. [Solution] A hollow fiber semipermeable membrane comprising cellulose acetate, said membrane characterized by: the water permeability flowing from the inner side of the hollow fiber semipermeable membrane toward the outer side, between an aqueous solution with a sodium chloride concentration of 35,000 mg/L at 25°C and freshwater with 0 g/L of OMPa at 25°C, being 60-180 L/m2/day; the outer diameter of the hollow fiber semipermeable membrane being 100-350µm; the inner diameter being 50-250µm; and the hollow ratio being 24-51%.
