Abstract:
Provided is a hollow molded article that comes into contact with high-pressure hydrogen and has a bonded section at which two or more split bodies are bonded by welding, wherein the hollow molded article is characterized in that the average spherulites size in a portion extending 500 μm inward from the surface of the hollow molded article is 20 μm or less, and the tensile strength of a test piece including the bonded section of the hollow molded article is 80% or higher in relation to the tensile strength of a test piece that does not include the bonded section of the hollow molded article. The present invention provides a hollow molded article that is brought into contact with high-pressure hydrogen and that has a bonded section, in which the occurrence of cracking at the bonded section can be inhibited even when the filling of the hollow molded article with high-pressure hydrogen and the releasing of the pressure of the high-pressure hydrogen are repeated.
