Abstract:
The present invention relates to a hollow swivel actuator comprising: a lower housing in which a driving motor is disposed; and an upper housing in which three gear trains and three pinion gear units for deceleration are arranged at an interval of 120 degrees, respectively, wherein a rotor worm gear for transferring an output of the driving motor is coupled through gear engagement to a ring gear integrally formed on a rotational table, so as to transfer decelerated rotational power therebetween. A hollow swivel actuator according to the present invention can obtain a great deceleration ratio by: primary deceleration between a rotor worm gear of a driving motor and a first to a third worm wheels of a first to a third gear trains; secondary deceleration between a first to a third worm gears and a fourth to a sixth worm wheels of a first to a third pinion gear units; and tertiary deceleration between a ring gear and a first to a third pinion gears, and thus can achieve a large torque increase.
