Abstract:
[PROBLEMS] To provide a hologram reproduction device and a hologram reproduction
method capable of easily and appropriately performing initialization for adjusting
an incident angle, a wavelength, and the like of a reproduced reference light
and then appropriately performing the hologram reproduction. [MEANS FOR SOLVING
PROBLEMS] Almost the entire region of the liquid crystal element (24) is made
to be a reproduced light transmission region so that a plenty of reproduced lights
(25a, 26a, 27a) transmit the region and are received by a light reception unit
(29). Then, reproduction initialization is performed for adjusting the incident
position, the incident angle θ2, and the wavelength of a reproduced reference
light (28). After this, the reproduced light transmission region is narrowed
so that only predetermined hologram data transmits the reproduced light transmission
region and is received by the light reception unit (29), thereby performing hologram
reproduction. The present invention can easily and appropriately perform
the reproduction initialization and appropriately perform the hologram reproduction.
