Abstract:
A holographic display device and a control method thereof are provided. The holographic display device comprises a light source (20), a spatial light modulator (21), an adjustable light guide device (26), and a direction controller (25). The spatial light modulator (21) is disposed at a light emission side of the light source (20) and configured to modulate the read light provided by the light source (20) and emit output light. The direction controller (25) is connected to the adjustable light guide device (26) and is configured to set, according to an observation position, an optical path of the output light and output, according to the optical path, a control signal to the adjustable light guide device (26), the optical path being matched to the observation position. The adjustable light guide device (26) is disposed at a light emission side of the spatial light modulator (21) and is configured to adjust, according to the control signal output by the direction controller (25), the direction of the output light of the spatial light modulator (21) so as to guide the output light along the optical path to the observation position.
