Abstract:
Provided is an information-encoding method and a holographic memory device which increase the information volume per page of holographic memory and reduce the bit error rate to ensure a higher multiplexing number. The holographic memory information encoding method captures information about signal page data in holographic memory as different data of a plurality of stages by block encoding, and superimposes each data on a single page of signal page data. The different data of a plurality of stages includes optical amplitude data and phase data. Amplitude data is divided by area through block encoding. When n number of odd-numbered ON bits exist in a divided area in the phase data, a phase of 2πs/n (where n and s are natural numbers) is imparted as the sth phase information to one set of binary data, and the same phase is imparted to the other set of binary data.
