Abstract:
A home-delivery system wherein predetermined identification information is added to an object to be delivered, thereby allowing a recipient of the object to easily confirm that the object has not been unpacked. A home-delivery system is capable of transmitting and receiving, via a network, information to and from a recipient terminal that can read identification information added to an object to be delivered. The home-delivery system comprises an identification information storing means that stores the identification information added to the object; a read information receiving means that receives, from the recipient terminal, information added to the object and read by the recipient terminal; a checking means that checks whether the information received from the recipient terminal is identical with the identification information stored in the identification information storing means; and a check result transmitting means that transmits the check result to the recipient terminal.
