Abstract:

Provided is a home electric appliance in which, even in a variable charging system in which an electric bill varies, it can be easily known whether the electric bill for the use of the home electric appliance is expensive or cheap. The home electric appliance comprises: a receiving unit (11) for receiving, as instantaneous electric bill information, the information of an electric bill that varies according to the amounts of electricity generated and consumed and is charged for the electricity consumed; an electric bill information accumulation unit (12) for accumulating the received instantaneous electric bill information; a determination unit (14) for calculating, as a reference electric bill information, the result obtained by performing statistical calculation processing on a plurality of accumulated instantaneous electric bill information values and for comparing received latest instantaneous electric bill information with the calculated reference electric bill information; a numerical value display unit (13) for informing, based on the comparison result by the determination unit (14), whether the latest instantaneous electric bill information is more expensive than the reference electric bill information or not.
