Abstract:
A home subscriber server (HSS) automatic selection method of IP multimedia subsystem includes steps: sets the interfaces between the SLF and the pluralities of HSSs respectively; the SLF queries the statures of the pluralities of HSSs through the interfaces at the predetermined time, and updates the record; when the CSCF queries the information of the HSS to the SLF, the SLF selects an available server according to the recorded the statures of the pluralities of HSSs and returns it to the CSCF. When a failure occurs in a HSS, the SLF can recognize it and switch the access path of the CSCF to the disaster tolerant backup HSS corresponding to the failure HSS, so the correctness of services is ensured.
