Abstract:
The present invention relates to a homogeneous charge compression ignition engine system and, more particularly, to an engine system of a homogeneous charge compression ignition engine that supplies a mixture of fuel and air to the engine and then burns the mixture by spontaneous ignition. To this end, the present invention provides a homogeneous charge compression ignition engine system comprising: a homogeneous charge compression ignition engine; a fuel mixer that mixes air and fuel to create a fuel mixture; and a heat exchanger that receives heat from high-temperature exhaust gas discharged through an exhaust manifold of the homogeneous charge compression ignition engine to heat the fuel mixture supplied from the fuel mixer and then supplies the heated fuel mixture to an intake manifold of the homogeneous charge compression ignition engine.
