Abstract:
Disclosed is a hood structure that, when an impact is applied to the front end of the hood, can absorb the impact energy with a stable loading. The hood structure (10) is provided with: an outer panel (18) that forms the outer side of the hood (12); an inner panel (20) that forms the inner side of the hood (12) and that is joined to the outer panel (18); a striker (14) that is provided to the front section of the inner panel (20) and that is locked by a lock mechanism (16); and a reinforcing section (28) that is provided in front of the striker (14) in the inner panel (20). The reinforcing section (28) is configured from a plurality of beads (30), which are formed from the inner panel (20) being caused to partially protrude, being disposed in each of the widthwise direction of the vehicle and the front-back direction of the vehicle.
