Abstract:
The present invention relates to a hood-type gas mask comprising: a hood provided with a visor in front thereof; a shield, on the inner lower part of the hood, for isolating the entire head from the outside; a nose mask provided inside the hood to isolate the nose and mouth of a wearer inside the hood; an exhalation valve cover provided on the front surface of the hood corresponding to the mouth of the wearer; an exhalation valve connector unit penetrating the nose mask to be coupled with the the exhalation valve cover; an exhalation valve disposed in between the exhalation valve connector unit and exhalation valve cover; purification cartridges provided on both sides of the front of the hood, with the exhalation valve cover in the center; purification cartridge connector units, each penetrating the nose mask to be attached to the purification cartridge; and webbing, connected to the purification cartridge connector units, for tightening to apply pressure to the hood so as to to closely attach the nose mask to the mouth and nose of the wearer, wherein the exhalation valve connector unit and purification cartridge connector units can be individually separated.
