Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a horizontal-axis power generation device which has a plurality of rotors disposed in a straight line on a single horizontal oblong shaft, and thus achieves high rotational torque and high power generation efficiency even when wind speeds are low. A power generator (8) is connected to a horizontal oblong shaft (3) supported between left and right shaft-bearing frames (2C) on a support frame body, and a plurality of rotors (6) are coupled to the horizontal oblong shaft (3). On each rotor (6), a lift-type, horizontal oblong blade (7) is secured parallel to the horizontal oblong shaft (3) on the leading end of a support arm (6A) disposed in a manner protruding radially from the horizontal oblong shaft (3), and the left and right end portions of each lift-type, horizontal oblong blade (7) are formed as inwardly inclined portions (7A) that are inclined toward the horizontal oblong shaft (3).
