Abstract:
Embodiments of the present application provide a horizontal federated learning-based training method and system. The method comprises: a coordinator device obtains distilled knowledge quality of participant devices, the distilled knowledge quality being calculated according to a preset knowledge quality assessment method; the coordinator device aggregates, according to the distilled knowledge quality of the participant devices, distilled knowledge of the participant devices to obtain aggregated knowledge, and calculates aggregated knowledge credibility; the coordinator device sends the aggregated knowledge and the aggregated knowledge credibility to the participant devices; and according to the aggregated knowledge credibility, each participant device trains a local model using the aggregated knowledge. According to the method provided by the embodiments of the present application, the improvement of the quality of the local model absorbing the aggregated knowledge is facilitated, such that the performance of the local models can be continuously improved during the process of repeated training, and the distilled knowledge quality provided would be better and better, and thus a positive cycle is formed and no crash would occur.
