Abstract:
The present invention relates to a forging device for manufacturing a thrust shaft for a vessel, and aims to provide a horizontal forging device for a thrust shaft for a vessel, which can easily mold a thrust shaft having flanges on two locations in one process, and evenly distribute one perpendicular pressing force among two horizontal pressing forces to enhance the precision of the molded articles provided separately from each other at two locations with a certain distance therebetween. The key technical features of the present invention comprise: a ring mold provided with a charge aperture having a billet penetrating therethrough; a left-right sliding mold, which faces and moves closer to the ring mold disposed at the center, and which has on the respective opposite surfaces thereof a charge groove that corresponds to the charge aperture and a mold volume for molding the flanges; a perpendicular pressing frame for moving the left-right sliding mold; and a power transmission means that converts the perpendicular pressing force of the perpendicular pressing frame into the horizontal movement of the left-right sliding mold.
